The Cleveland Pay House is currently is search of goal driven and motivated sales associates. Individuals must have a proven track record for success, the ability to close sales, articulate information clearly and be well spoken. Past experience a must.
All individuals must be available between 12-8pm Monday - Friday and occasional weekends. This is a part time position, work times and schedules will rotate. Past association with the “Arts Community” and non-profit work preferred but not required.
We are located just west of the Cleveland Clinic and offer secure off street parking. All positions are paid hourly + commission.

Job Description:
- Explain and market productions, events, and season prices.
- Answer questions or concerns from patrons.
- Contact private individuals by telephone in order to solicit sales of season theater package, or to request donations for charitable causes.
- Explain productions, upcoming event and pricing, and answer questions from patrons
- Obtain customer information such as name, address, and payment method, to expedite sales order.
- Record names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects contacted.
- Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals.
- Obtain names and telephone numbers of potential patrons from sources such as telephone directories, raffle reply cards, and lists purchased from other organizations.
- Answer telephone calls from potential patrons who have been solicited through advertisements.
- Telephone or write letters to respond to correspondence from customers or to follow up initial sales contacts.
INTERNSHIPS
The Cleveland Play House internship program is run through our Education department. It offers advanced training opportunities in production and administration for students and young professionals interested in a career in theatre.
